Things to remember

Over the years I have had many costume designs brought to me as sketches. As much as I enjoy the challenges each one presents, there are occasionally issues. One that stands out is the transition from front view to back view. For example, if the sketch has a spagetti strap on the front view but a sleeve on the back view. Sketching a design with desired features is very creative. Just remember to think in 3D and follow construction lines to make sure the transition around the body is possible.
